Our youth group for grades 6-12 is called FISH, which stands for Fellowship, Inquiry, Service, and Hospitality meets monthly to connect and engage with each other and the world through spiritual discussion and formation, fellowship, social activities, and social justice work.
Each year FISH takes on a service project dealing with a major world issue. Two years ago they focused on water and raised enough funds for Episcopal Relief and Development to build a clean-water well in a developing nation. Last year they focused on immigration, providing support for arriving Syrian refugees through the Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Service ministry of our diocese. And each year there are field trips and adventures like tubing down snowy mountains, museum exhibits, ice skating, and bodysurfing after Church on the Beach.
