Saint A's Men's Group Dinners

The St. A's Men's Group meets once a month to eat, talk and have fun.
Also, all are invited to attend the Morning Market Mass from 8:30AM - 9AM. After the worship service, which includes a Eucharist Celebration, we go to the Open Air Farmer's Market on Arizona and the 3rd St. to get food for our evening dinner.
We have no agenda other than to get together. Usually someone will bring a topic to discuss. Others will bring food to cook or wine to drink. Sometimes we bar-b-que entrees separately, other times we cook together. We coordinate who's bringing what via a Yahoo! User group. It allows us to communicate with everyone in the group by email. In the midst of a megalopolis it is difficult to have a sense of community. We've found that meeting and getting to know others in the church is a radically counter-cultural statement.
