The Center for Healthy Aging by Rose Kujawa The Center for Healthy Aging (CHA), a nonprofit organization, addresses the needs of aging adults and their families by providing assistance with the physical, emotional, and practical challenges that come with aging. CHA clients range from healthy, active older individuals to those who are homebound, frail, isolated, uninsured, or dealing with persistent mental illness. CHA is getting ready for Free Volunteer Training on four Mondays in October and November. Volunteer opportunities from which you may choose are Friendly Visiting, Money Management and Health Clinic Assistance. In addition to the training for Friendly Visiting, Money Management and Health Clinic Assistance, CHA is offering Free Volunteer Training in Peer Counseling for people 55 and older.
