O God, you created us to live in families where love and gentleness are shared. Bless those whose homes have been shattered by the violence of war, theft, terrorism, and murder. Bless those who have died that they may rest in your eternal love and protection. Restore unto the survivors the gift of peace, tranquility, and trust that their world may be whole again; in the name of Christ who brought peace into this world, we pray. Amen.
