Corazon Prayer by The Rev. Joyce Stickney El Espíritu eterno, fabricante de Tierra, portador de Dolor, Donador de Vida, la Fuente de todo que es y eso será, el Padre y la Madre de nosotros todo: Sea nuestro compañero y guía, como cruzamos la frontera en México, abriendo los corazones a nuestros vecinos no mas conocidos. Sea nuestro protector y amigo, como construimos hogares y relaciones nuevas fundado en su gracia. Sea nuestro consejero, especialmente a los jóvenes con nosotros que en ser expuesto a la pobreza, al caos, y al hambre, puede agarrar su espíritu de la misericordia y la justicia. Pueda volvemos a nuestra familia y parroquia de San Agustino -- una personas como cambiadas -- tocado por su presencia en otra tierra, tocado por su amor por la comunidad y el servicio, y tocado por su espíritu de la esperanza, en el nombre de su Hijo Jesucristo, nuestra salvación. Amén. Eternal Spirit, Earth-maker, Pain-bearer, Life-Giver, Source of all that is and that shall be, Father and Mother of us all: Be our companion and guide, as we cross the border into Mexico, opening our hearts to our neighbors not yet known. Be our protector and friend, as we build and construct homes and new relationships founded on your grace. Be our counselor, especially to the young people with us that in being exposed to poverty, chaos, and starvation, may seize your spirit of mercy and justice. May we return to our homes and parish family of St. A's as changed people -- touched by your flesh in another land, touched by your love through community and service, and touched by your spirit of hope, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, our salvation and good news. Amen.
