Summer Sunday School by Elissa Tognozzi, Director of Children's Education
When making your summer plans this year, consider giving an hour one Sunday that you will be in town to help launch our summer Sunday School program. Starting June 22, 2003, and continuing through August 31, 2003, at 10:00 o'clock we will have a 50 minute intergenerational Sunday School program in Pierson Hall. Children ages 4+ are welcome. The program will include music, prayer, bible stories, crafts, and, of course, snacks!
The easy part is that all preparations will be done for you. All you will have to do is pick up the format, story, and craft from the church office in time to go over it before your scheduled time to teach. We ask that you provide the snack.
You will soon be seeing sign-up sheets on the patio. We need to have two adults and one teen per Sunday to guide the lesson. We welcome our experienced teachers but also encourage those of you who have been contemplating teaching but not yet made a commitment to try this one-week opportunity. You'll enjoy getting to know our children and other adult Christian education leaders.
