FREE ... A shared meal, prayer and fellowship as we explore ways for St. Augustine's to get active in our community. Please join us on March 7th from 7-9pm for our next monthly meeting. At our February meeting, we discussed a new name for the Peace & Justice Committee. For the interim, it will be known as the Community Action Network (known as CAN Do!) Within the church, we are looking at ways to make services more accessible and enjoyable for our physically challenged members. In the greater community we are looking at ways to get more involved with NYA, the Thanksgiving meal served at S.M. Civic Center and planning a special environmentally oriented service to celebrate Earth Day. If any of these (or other activities you see St. Augustine's involved in) rings your bell, please contact The Rev. Joyce Stickney about coming to our next meeting (so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone). All are welcome.
