Parish Fellowship Weekend at Camp Stevens by The Rev. Laura V. Queen On October 3-5, 2008 we will be having our annual parish fellowship weekend at beautiful Camp Stevens in Julian, California. Camp Stevens is a jewel in the crown of riches our diocese owns and operates. Just outside of the historic gold mining town of Julian in the San Jacinto mountains, Camp Stevens offers us a place to gather and celebrate our parish life. There is a swimming pool and over 200 acres of property to explore. This time for fellowship and relaxation is a perfect opportunity for all members of the congregation to spend quality time together and a wonderful way to get to know other parishioners in a beautiful and natural setting. Many people have found that this parish weekend is one of the best things we do together at St. Augustine's. The accommodations include dormitory style sleeping and a comfortable meeting space where we gather for fun, relaxation, discussion and worship. Healthy meals are served family style and will be provided beginning with Saturday breakfast concluding with Sunday lunch. Registration materials are available on the patio, beginning June 1, 2008.
