You may have noticed the lineup of baby buggies along the south side of the sanctuary during worship. On any given Sunday, you can spot several of them with their precious cargo rocking back and forth. The Narthex is likewise brimming with little ones laughing, crying, and babbling during the service. It appears we have all been blessed with a population explosion at St. A's, as a new bundle is welcomed into our parish family every few months!

To better accommodate these and the other 20+ registered children, we have undertaken a complete renovation of the nursery. Our ongoing goal of providing a safe, clean, loving and fun environment for the 0-4 year old set will be enhanced as we update the facility. Improvements include new carpeting and area rug, furniture, outdoor play surface, paint, and decor. Our own Melissa Cook is rolling up her sleeves and rolling on the paint to create a colorful Noah's Ark mural with animals and fish to delight the tots. The new room will feature a coat rack and shoe cubby, toddler climbing unit, wall storage unit and bins, wooden play kitchen, new tables and chairs, play table, cozy reading nook with oversized pillows and standing library shelves, and lots of new toys and books. Nursing mothers will appreciate a glider with stool, and as always, our well stocked changing table is available to anyone in a diaper!
