In late April a group of parishioners met with Kathy May, an OPCC Board Member who has led a weekly Bible Study at Samoshel. Kathy gave an orientation and the group committed to leading a weekly study at Turning Point, a transitional program for homeless persons with 55 beds and a 6 to 9 month stay for residents. We developed a format for the study and a rotation of leaders so that each pair of leaders will be responsible for one study per month. Please remember Suzanne Whitney, Donovan Jacobs, Tom Royer, Liesel Friedrich, Joyce Stickney, Peter and Gretchen Haight, and Debbie Michels in your prayers as they embark on this new terrain in outreach.
