40's/50's Group (previously known as the "Chopped Liver" group) by Pam Schmidt We are happy to announce the resumption of a group for those of us too old for the 20-30's group but not quite swinging enough for the "Swinging Seniors". One of our more creative parishioners previously dubbed this group "the Chopped Liver" group (as in "what are we, "chopped liver"?). We have decided to revert to a more descriptive (albeit less creative) name: "the 40's − 50's" group. The next event of this newly named group will be on June 30, 2007 at the house of John Amussen. On this Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. we will have a wonderful summer potluck barbeque. You should bring what you want to grill as well as something for the group to share. Besides enjoying good food and the company of others in their 40's or 50's, we will discuss ideas for future group happenings.
