Winter Family Retreat at the Episcopal Camp at Wrightwood, January 19-21, 2007

This year the Fall Family Retreat scheduled to be held at Camp Stevens in Julian has been re-scheduled for a Winter Camp at our Episcopal Camp in Wrightwood, California. Nestled in the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains at an altitude of 6,000 feet, the mountain setting is perfect for winter activities. There is a warm fireplace as well as plenty of hot chocolate. Plan for fellowship, fun and maybe a little skiing at the near by Mountain High Ski Resort. Save the date for this not to be missed parish event. One of the cabins there was refurbished through a grant from St. A's and is named "St. Augustine by-the-Sea Cabin." Look for it when you go. Registration materials available on the patio.

Stewardship: A "Last Word
by The Rev. Hartshorn Murphy
I want to address something we all want to avoid, and yet is one of the only things I can guarantee awaits us all: death… In a sense, from the day we are born, we are dying. And if we think about this long enough, we most often think about our legacy. What will it be? MORE
