Confirmation Class by The Rev. Joyce Stickney During the Lenten season, a 5 week class including a one night retreat at the Cathedral Center will be offered for our middle and high school parishioners who are interested in Baptism and/or Confirmation in the Episcopal Church. The class begins Sunday, February 20th and runs through March 20th, meeting at 10 AM in the Thomas Merton Room. The following topics will be addressed: the Bible and Book of Common Prayer, Church History, the Trinity, the Creeds, Worship and Church Customs, Church Polity, the Sacraments, and Baptism and Confirmation, in an interactive format with small group discussions. At the Retreat (Fri., March 11-Sat., March 12th at the Cathedral Center), we will explore prayer and spirituality (including each of us making an Anglican Rosary and using it as a prayer form), and have a tour of the Cathedral Center - which is essentially your Cathedral Center.
