Are you between 18 and 40? Do you want to be closer to the other young adults at St. Augustine’s? Then we want you to be a part of a special new ministry specifically with and for young adults. This is an opportunity for us to help provide a Christian community of support and friendship to all who are in the 18-40 age range. Our parish already has a large number of members in this age range. Young adults have their own perspectives on and experiences of church that need to be honored. As we envision this ministry moving forward, we hope that it will include opportunities for worship, educational formation, mission and most certainly, fun! Our goal is to provide young adults a chance to enjoy being with each other and experiencing God in community. The first gathering of this group in November was a huge success featuring Melissa Cook’s culinary skills with a wonderful pasta dinner. We will meet again on January 18, at 6:30 p.m. in Pierson Hall. We look forward to seeing you in the new year.
