Thoughts of our Corazon experience always drift to people. The young girl who met us at the village with a hand made sign saying "Welcome Corazon." The sign inviting us to share their lunch saying "food for the soul." Working shoulder to shoulder, being part of an effort to improve people's lives. The time shared with the other parishioners, builders and the Corazon families.

Our 12 year-old son, Zack, liked going to the build and getting up on the roof to work. He liked meeting the families, playing soccer with the children, and the cats and dogs (there were many dogs).

The gratefulness of the recipient Corazon families made the construction seem almost effortless. This is our second Corazon build and we look forward to many more. Sharing this experience as a family has given us a greater appreciation for the blessings that we have.
