St. A’s Nursery Spring Clean
Parents of nursery aged children (0-4 years) are encouraged to participate in St. A’s Nursery Spring Clean on April 1 from 9:00am-12:00 pm. Come help clean, sort, and prepare the space for a make-over. Bring your ideas and dreams of a fun and nurturing space for our littlest ones. Breakfast snacks provided. We love your children, but need all hands for working, so please leave them home! Contact Jennifer Pavia at djpavia@verizon.net with questions, or to share your thoughts/hopes on how we can strengthen our nursery care program at St. Augustine’s.

Lenten Sunday School Focus
St. A’s Sunday School will prepare our children for Easter with the following themes this Lenten season. A focus on faith and listening to God’s voice, a love for God’s Law through the Commandments, mercy and God’s care for all, the Passion and God on trial, along with prayer with emphasis on Lent will be explored at each grade level. Through stories, games, music, and crafts, children will continue their relationship with God – a relationship of intimacy, forgiveness, and faithfulness.

Hop on Down the Bunny Trail!
Hey kids, join your St. A’s friends on Easter morning (Sunday, April 16) for our annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Parish Courtyard. This fun activity starts at 9:45 sharp, so shake your cottontail and don’t forget your Easter basket!

Diocese To Sponsor Two Visits To Belize For Young People
June 26 - July 5, 2006 and July 31-August 9.
Young people of the diocese ages 16 and up are invited to participate in two visits to the Anglican Diocese of Belize during the summer of 2006. The Diocese of Los Angeles has a formal companion diocese relationship. A group of youths from the Diocese of El Salvador, another of Los Angeles’ companion dioceses, will also be visiting Belize during that time. The young people will be housed at the diocesan guesthouse in Belize City. Three adults will accompany each group as they learn about the culture of Belize and interact with young people from that diocese. The tour will also include three days of sightseeing in Belize. Cost for each trip is $1,300.00 per person (U.S. funds). For information, contact the Rev. Julie Bryant at St. Matthew’s, Pacific Palisades, 310.573.7787, ext. 129, or by email at jdbryant@stmatthews.com or contact Marsha Vargas at 310.836.7459 or quizene@aol.com.
